About Us
After Dark is a not-for-profit movement dedicated to protecting and celebrating culture after sunset. For cities that want safety and vibrancy, not Starbucks and curfews.
We work with independent venues, artists, and communities to document what happens at night. Through travel guides, storytelling, membership, and advocacy, we support the spaces that keep cities alive after dark and give night owls a collective voice. Because the night isn’t just nightlife. It’s culture. And it deserves to be taken seriously.
After Dark was launched in Spring 2026. If you subscribe today, you'll get full access to the website as well as email newsletters about new content when it's available. Your subscription makes this site possible, and allows After Dark and the independent venues we support continue to exist and keep our cities vibrant.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world where the night is recognised as a vital part of cultural life and is protected, accessible, and alive. We imagine cities that value what happens after sunset, where independent venues are supported rather than erased, and where night owls are seen, heard, and represented. After Dark exists to make sure the stories, spaces, and communities of the night are not lost, but carried forward into the future.
